The contest will be on Wednesday 22nd and will begin at five in the afternoon.
THE CIDER.- Ninde days of celebrations in the festivities of Mieres del Camín during San Xuan. This year the organizers scheduled a set of activities to begin on the 17th and ending on 25th. Inside them as it could not be otherwise, there will be the XXXI Cider Pourers Contest, to begin at 5 in the afternoon of the Wednesday 22nd in the Requexu Square.
The contest is organized by the Cider Pourers Association of Asturies and it’s one of the dates scoring for the Asturian Championship and uses to have good participation and following by the public. At the end of the contest there will be the performances of Cristina Sánchez, Luis Estrada and Fran Pola.
During the nine days of the festivities the streets of Mieres will be full of music and activities for those who visit the locality to enjoy the first big party of the Summer. Thus there will be plenty of things to enjoy such as Asturian music, pop and rock, sports and contests, initiatives to know the mining world, games and shows for children and places to enjor Asturian gastronomy.
