LA SIDRA will participate in the fair of apple anf cider at the Italian Alps.
THE CIDER. – The weekend of the Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of October takes place SICER, the most important cider event in Italy located in Antey-Saint André, by the feet of the Matterhorn-Monte Cervino.
During these two days there are scheduled many activities official and public both. In Saturday’s afternoon there will be the Second International Comference of Cider of Italy to which it is expected to attend the Canadian expert Claude Jolicoeur.It will be followed by an official dinner based in apple gastronomy and a show of traditiona dancing.
On Sunday from nine in the morning and in four different stages located along the village there will be a traditional market related to the apple and harvest goods in which there will be a space for the tasting of national and international cider as well as comferences about slow food gastronomy, the cider world, an Alpine traditional meal, shows from the invited regions, apple desserts tasting, a special stamp released to the post and activities for children.
The organization has already confirmed the participation of cider makers from northern Italy, Austria, Germany, Ireland, Spain, Holland, France, Japan and USA.
And among them LA SIDRA will be present represented by our collaborator Donato Xuaquín Villoria, who will offer an Asturian cider tasting for the attendees and will cover the information of the events of Sicera ’16.
