El Majuelo opened its doors on last Thursday to offer its customers the Asturian traditional cuisine and with main interest the hot snack.
THE CIDER.- It is said that water is good for innaugurations. A good omen for El majuelo, which opened its doors on last Thursday 28th of January at Roncal 9 of Xixón, in a day stained by the soft rain. Since seven in the afternoon the place had tens of people who came to celebrate the opening. All night long its owners Benjamín and Borja took care and did not let any of the customers left without tasting the traditional kitchen.
Potato omelette, fried sardines, barbecue and chimichurri ribs, pork sausage in cider, sausage buns, chicken wings or pancakes with Cabrales cheese were some of the snacks offered to the public. There were also plenty of cider. There were Trabanco and Canal along with the rhythm and tunes of traditional music.
For the two members the main objective is “to give the best to the customer”. Thus one of their main interest is to offer hot snacks at the bar constantly, besides made available the traditional potato omelette or ham, served at room temperature. Regarding the special dishes, the octopus, the fried squids and barbecues are the main strong points. So in El Llanu, El Majuelo began with strenght and effort to make of their future customers enjoy the best of the cider district.
