LA SIDRA.- Year by year the protagonist products in Lorient are the traditional ones from Brittany: the meats, the oysters of the Morbihan gulf, the strawberries of Plougastel, the kouign amann or Breton pies and of course cider, either natural or cuvée, so proper of the creperies.
Breizh offers a wide variety of traditional products that are the showcase and presentation of this celtic nation inside the festival. Cider is always present in Breton culture and appears everywhere, both in little stands of local producers, representing modern cider mills or simply in the commercial centers around. It is relevant especially the many different varieties that can be found without leaving a single bar or street with stands, being the most appreciated the well known chouchenn or Breton cider mead.
There are also the stands from cider makers associations from Brittany that display their cider culture of the area and give it to know for the international visitors.
