“The culture trip” highlights Tierra Astur, Los Pomares and Valverán Cidermill among the best ones in Spain.
LA SIDRA.-The cultural web has decided to explore the cider bars and cidermills in Asturias and it has concluded that these are the most outstanding ones:
Tierra Astur. With branches in Xixón, Uviéu, Avilés and Colloto it is one of Asturias’ most popular cider houses, not only because of the good cider and dishes offered, but also for its astonishing decoration. The venues show the visitors an amazing wooden decor together with cider-bottle lamps and the chance of sitting inside giant cider barrels to enjoy a unique experience.
Los Pomares. Here customers can explore the traditional Asturian cuisine with exquisite dishes such as “fabada” (a stew made of white beans, bacon, black pudding and chorizo), which was awarded in 2015 as the Best Fabada in the World.
Llagares Valverán. They represent a young and innovative concept in the world of Asturian cider. “20 Manzanas” (made from 20 indigenous apples) is a Canadian-style worth trying ice cider which has become a huge success among customers.
