LA SIDRA.- According to the Berlin-based blogger Cider Explorer, who has been reviewing around 200 ciders from Europe, Canada, U.S. and New Zealand, Viuda de Angelon, Ramborn Cider and Chyliczki deserve to be among the world’s best ciders in 2017. The three of them were awarded in the International Hall of Gala Ciders celebrated in Xixon last year.
Natural cider 1947 by Asturian Viuda de Angelon is considered a nicely balanced cider with a spectacular palate and dangerously drinkable, as it is extremely delicious.
Farmhouse by Luxembourgian Ramborn Cider is reviewed as a perfect marriage of oaky whisky notes with a crisp red apple, which leads to an amazing taste.
Cydr Lodowy 2015, by Polish Chyliczki is described as an ice cider with a high acidity with balances out it sweetness, with the flavour of baked apples and spices.
Apart from these ciders, Cider Explorer also chose Sidra Brut Nature by Guzman Riestra as one of the best sparkling ciders to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Riestra’s Brut Nature has been reviewed as an exceptionally sophisticated cider, full of refreshing citrus fruits and ripe apples flavour.
