Gabe Cook, also known as “The Ciderologist”, takes the role.
LA SIDRA.- The cider expert on Sunday Brunch, communication manager for Heineken UK and cider maker Gabe Cook has become the cider-and-pizza group The Stable’s cider ambassador.
Taking education as a priority, the group has 23 Cider Masters, 20 of which sat an exam set by Cook this month.
Cook likes to educate the consumer about the different styles of cider and has an extensive knowledge of the UK ciders as well as foreign producers’ from USA, New Zealand and Central Europe, which will help The Stable in their product selection.
The group, which has 17 locations throughout the UK. consider their Cider Masters a credit to the business , as consumers are more and more interested in the drinks they are ordering.
