The initiative involves the IES Valle de Aller and the CIFP of Hospitality and Tourism in Xixón.
THE CIDER.- As of today and until November 29, the II Interschool Route Vía de la Plata Conference are held, with representation and participation of the four Autonomous Communities through which the historic itinerary runs: Andalusia, Extremadura, Castilla and Leon, and, of course, Asturies. The Hospitality and Tourism schools of the CIFP Xixón, the IES Valle de Aller, the CIFP Ciudad de Zamora, the IES Heliópolis in Seville and the Ciudad de Plasencia Higher Cooking School collaborate.

In this second edition the centers will offer a tasting menu consisting of nine dishes made with typical products from these provinces: corn cakes with apples and Asturian appetizer cheeses; Main dishes: pork tenderloin salad with vegetables and vegetables in soy vinaigrette, honey and lemon, Asturian pot, Tera trout loin in soft pickled cider and oxtail stew (bull’s tail); and for dessert, rice pudding and orange ice cream from the Arribes del Duero.
The price of the tasting menu is the same in all schools: 18 euros. In each school, a lot of gastronomic products will be raffled among those who participate in these days. The menus will offer the following days. In Asturies the CIFP of Xixón will serve the menu on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29. And the IES Valle de Aller will only do so, today Wednesday 27, and tomorrow, Thursday 28.
