The festival will be attended by the town council cidermills.
LA SIDRA.- Cider will take a leading role again next year, this time in Siero’s covered market. According to the councillor, César Manuel Díaz, a great Cider Festival is being formalized in the spring of 2018, most likely at the end of April, in which cider, cuisine and leisure will join together.
For that reason, they have published a 16-page guide, with a first print run of 2,000 copies, in which the traditional cider making, the history of apple and cider and a wide explanation on Siero cidermills will be explained.
In this guide, everything related to cidermills history, equipment, awards won, access routes and other interest information will be found in detail.
The project, as a result of the collaboration of the government and cidermakers in the área, will give visibility to cidermills Arbesu, Corzo, Quelo, Fanjul, Fran, Juanin, La Morena, Los Bayones, Muñiz, Torre, Viuda de Palacio, Caseria San Juan del Obispo, Fonciello and Roza.
