From June 8 to 24 you will be able to taste this cephalopod in a snack, plate or menu form in 49 catering establishments in the country
LA SIDRA.- The first edition of PulpoPasión Asturies is already running, the first gastronomic route based on octopus recipes, which is taking place from June 8 to 24. A total of 49 restaurants, cider bars, bars and grocery stores will offer dishes and menus, both traditional and cutting-edge cuisine, with the octopus as the protagonist.
The main objective of this initiative is to promote the country’s gastronomy, making known the multiple possibilities offered by this product. For this, PulpoPasión Asturies has the participation and collaboration of fifty shops, restaurants, cider bars, companies and institutions throughout Asturies, in an area that covers the entire central area and extends from Tinéu to Cangues d’Onís.
So that we can enjoy octopus in all its aspects, PulpoPasión offers the possibility to choose between “snack + albariño wine glass”, “plate + 2 albariño wine glasses” or “menu + albariño wine bottle”. The prices range between 4.50 and 19 euros, and the plate option ranges between 12 and 25 euros. The full menu, 28 euros.
This first edition of PulpoPasión Asturies has been organized by the gastronomic agency Nacho Sandoval Estrategias and Marketing, and is sponsored by the wine DO Rías Baixas, from Bodegas Pagos del Rey, and has the exclusive collaboration of Méndez León. Some of the 49 establishments that are part of the proposal are: El Ferroviario cider house, El Valle cider house, Lena Gastronomic cider house, La Campurra cider house, La Virusa cider house, Vega Redonda cider house, Yumay cider house, La Finca-Sidrería Agrobar. Also in the restaurants Pulpo A Feira, Casa Repinaldo, La Marimorena Taberna Asturiana or La Gran Vetusta.
