After two years in front of Casa Pompo, Javier Zango opened this new restaurant, much more spacious and modern, in which the wild fish of the Cantabric Sea and the spoon dishes have a leading role.
LA SIDRA.- Javier Zango and his team decided to move to another place, much larger, modern and with air conditioned, inaugurating Puerto Velas, in San Esteban de Pravia. A business in which they want to maintain the virtues and cuisine that gave them such good results in their previous stage and that served them to achieve a loyal clientele.
Its commitment to a traditional cuisine, with an avant-garde and healthy touch, is present in all its dishes, although they are a little more elaborate. The wild fish from the Cantabric Sea, such as sea bass or turbot, are one of its strong points, so much so that “we have customers who come exclusively looking for them, being able to taste them as they want, in sauce, in the oven or on the griddle”. In its elaborated menu, in addition to the best seafood of the Cantabrian, we can also find an exquisite codfish with clams in seafood sauce or a cod with onion and black garlic sauce.
