Today Friday October 18th and tomorrow Friday 19th, a group of 36 people associated with the world of cider will visit the apple producers, cidermakers, restaurants, cider bars and entities related to the sector such as the Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin or the Asturies XXI Foundation.
THE SIDRA.- 36 Polish cidermakers arrived in Asturies to deepen on the subject of cider first hand in this sector of the country. Thanks to the Asturies XXI Foundation and to the meeting that it organizes every year: the International Hall of Gala Ciders (IHGC), that all the other Polish producers discovered the Asturian cider and thanks to the visits of some of them too. They will be visiting our country during several days with a schedule full of interviews and visits to the facilities of harvesters, cidermakers, importers, exporters and cider bars.

12 h. Guided tour and tasting at the Llagar Cortina, Villaviciosa
2:00 p.m. Lunch at the Amandi Restaurant, Villaviciosa
3:30 p.m. Visit to Viveros Madiedo and its apple orcharsds, Villaviciosa
6:00 p.m. Meeting at the headquarters of the Asturies XXI Foundation, Xixón
7:30 p.m. Visit to Llagar El Duque in Xixón, and a guided tasting of Asturian and international cider.
9:30 p.m. Visit to the Cider District of Xixón.
Friday 19
9:30 h. Visit to the Finca El Gallinal, Xixón, one of the most modern apple orchards in Asturies.
12 h. Visit to the Museum of the Asturian Village in Xixón
13:30 h. Traditional espicha in the cider mill J. Tomás, Villaviciosa
4:30 p.m. Visit to Nava’s Cider Museum
6:30 p.m. Visit to Viuda d’Angelón Cider Mill, Nava
9:00 p.m. Visit to the Cider Boulevard in Gascona, Uviéu
