The cider bar in Xixón celebrated with Iberian ham its second anniversary.
LA SIDRA.- The Grill & Cider Bar Miravalles has a short but intense history in the catering industry in Xixón. Strategically located by San Lorenzo beach, their customers, who praise their traditional cuisine and flawless attention, claim to feel like home.
Its owner, Pepe Crespo, dedicated to the hospitality industry for two decades, wanted to thank his clients for trusting them along these two years, with a ham slicing from 8 p.m. Each customer could enjoy a plate of Montenevado Iberian ham, cut in the traditional way, that is, by knife.
Their celebrated grilled meats, fish and seafood stews and rice dishes are the cider bar’s best lure. Nor can we ignore the success of their cachopos (two breaded steaks stuffed with ham and cheese), one of whose suggestions ended up a finalist in the IV Cachopos and Cachopines Regional Contest held this year.
The place has a wide and luminous space and a humble but effective Asturian decor which invites to drink some bottles of Menéndez cider. It also offers a 50-sitting capacity dining-room, ideal for convivial meals and other events.
