It got ‘Double Gold’ and ‘Gold (tie)’ in the ‘Sour’ category of the US publication.
LA SIDRA.- Cidercraft is a printed and online magazine that is published three times a year in the United States and that focuses on artisan cider makers, although it also publishes original cocktail recipes, beverage reports, opinion pieces or recommends different harmonizations. In addition, it also holds an international competition. And in that contest Sidra Riestra won two awards in the ‘Sour’ category: ‘Double gold’ for its natural cider; and ‘Gold (tie)’ for the ‘Good clean funk’ call; that is to say, the highest positions of the mentioned category. The contest was composed in total of fourteen: traditional, modern, pear cider, varietal monkey, pink, aged in wood, sour, fruits with bone, fruit, rested, spicy, botanical, special and dessert.
“The products presented to the open call were tasted in a blind tasting by experts from the cider industry, researchers, producers, writers, producers and‘ pommeliers ’.
