LA CIDRA.- IES Valle de Ayer organizes the VII National Edition of the Cooking Contest with Xata Roxa (Asturian Red Veal) for hospitality and hostelry schools. A contest that has had to adapt to the circumstances and be carried out electronically, with the finalist recipes being sent in video format for the jury to decide the result.
Given the high participation, the organization has decided that there will be seven finalists: Gonzalo Márquez Díaz, from the CIFP Hostelería y Turismo de Asturies, located in Xixón; Aarón Delgado Valencia, from the IES Miralbueno, from Zaragoza, Aragón; Kevin Abraham Sigüenza Peña, from CIFP San Lorenzo, from Huesca, Aragón; Janire Loynaz Alonso, from the Gamarra Hospitality School, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country; Sebastián Medina Godoy, from the Mediterranean Culinary Center, from Valencia, Valencian Community; Alexia Ventura Ladero, from the IES Olivar Gran, from Figueras, Catalonia and Pablo García Llorente from the IES Valle de Ayer, Moreda de Aller, from Asturies.
On the 5th the jury will have the video recipes to score them and the awards ceremony will be held, by telematic procedure, on March 9 at noon in the assembly hall of the IES Valle de Ayer, after the presentation of the act by the director of the center, as well as the presentation and intervention of the sponsors and collaborators. The prizes are endowed with 250 euros, 150 euros and 100 euros for the first three places.
