This proposal promoted by cider mills from Siero will be held on April 28 and 29, and aims to enhance quality over quantity.
LA SIDRA.- Unlike the usual festivals of cider in which with the purchase of a glass you drink what you want, the proposal of “Espalma la sidra” aims to enhance the value of cider, offering a cider cared and poured to the perfection, assigning the due economic value.
It will be held the last weekend of April in the covered Plaza of La Pola Siero, on Saturday from 12:00 to 16:00 and from 7:00 to 3:00 and Sunday from 12:00 to 20:00 .
In the square there will be nine cider stands run by:
– Sidra Quelo
– Sidra Muñiz
– Sidra Fanjul
– Llagar La Morena
– Sidra Vda. de Palacio
– Sidra Arbesú
– Casería San Juan del Obispo
– Sidra Fran
– Sidra Fonciello
All the cider mills will have a pourer, as well as the central zone of tables and benches that will have five waiters who will pour the cider.
Two catering establishments of La Pola will run two gastronomic stands in which a typical Asturian menu will be offered. These will be Restaurante Abrelatas and Restaurante Karting Pola.
In addition, there will be live music throughout the festival:

– Saturday 22:00 h- La Versión de los Hechos
– Saturday 3:00 h- DJ Diego Laruelo
– Sunday 13:30 h- Los Gascones
On the other hand, there will be a trade fair area in which companies and entities related to the world of cider and the Asturian product will be able to exhibit and sell all their products to the public.
And, finally, an exhibition area will be enabled to make conference, workshops and competitions related to the cider world.
