Overlooking the Bay of Lluanco and on the same promenade, on the shore of the Cantabric Sea, there’s El Tormentín, a cider bar run since 2015 by Guillermo Coviella. He alongside with his team, is in charge of making this restaurant a place privileged to enjoy the specialties of the house, such as rice with lobster, with clams, or black with squid. Special attention is paid to the rice with octopus and sea urchin caviar, obviously in season and by prior order.
Of the rices, Pilar Diego is responsible for preparing them, while fish and seafood are the specialty of Diego Busto who prepares something very special, such as prawns in the oven.
And do not forget the desserts, also homemade, which are the best way to complete the gastronomic offer of quality and tradition that we will find in that restaurant.
The capacity of the restaurant is about 50 people, so it is recommended to book in advance, especially for the terrace. All this harmonizes perfectly with cider such as Foncueva, Trabanco and Trabanco over the yeast, Poma Áurea, Roxmut, and cider brandy from the Monastery of Corias.
Undoubtedly a successful and varied cider menu that makes El Tormentín a cider bar recommended by LA SIDRA for its gastronomy, quality, tradition and good work.
