The fourth edition of the Mondial des Cidres will be held from the 2nd to the 4th of March, 2018, at the Complexe Desjardins in Montreal. It is part of Montreal en Lumière, one of the biggest winter festivals with a programme combining performing arts, gastronomy, outdoor activities and a white night.
You will be able to taste cider from 18 cider producers onsite and discover local products from a dozen food producers. Lecturers and students from the ITHQ (Quebec Tourism and Hotel Management Institute) will make tapas to enjoy with local ciders and 20 cheese makers will create the best food and cider pairing.
Last but not least, the cocktail area and the tasting stand will delight and inspire cider lovers.
The 18 cider producers will be judged by the public via the 2018 Public Prize: all visitors will receive a voting disc which will allow them to choose their favourite cider mill after having tasted all of them. Don’t forget to support the producers by sharing your favourite one on the social media with the #MondialCidres!
