The llagar “Valdepomme”, of Ambrosero, brings to market its first harvest.
LA SIDRA.- Under the name “45 Amigos”, this new cider is produced in the town of Ambrosero, in the old Asturies of Trasmiera (Cantabria since 1982) by the Valdepomme company, formed by Juan José Hierro and Gonzalo Garrido.
The first production of this cider mill is about 22,000 liters, made from apple varieties covered by the Cider of Asturies Designation of Origin and bottled in the traditional Asturian bottle-iron mold.
Right now they have an orchard of about 40 díes de gües (5 hectares), with 1600 apple trees planted in 2012.
