The Gin Fizz from Warsaw Amares, ideal to enjoy the Asturian summer
THE CIDER.- The last project of Warsaw is a spectacular terrace overlooking the bay of Xixón, the iconic beach of San Lorenzo and its Paseo del Muro. Mounted next to the pool and surrounded by light bulbs, it also has a part of tables to sit comfortably to chat, snack and drink a cocktail with the sound of the waves in the background … and live music.
One of the proposals of that space is the ‘Apple Gin Fizz’ that has gin, apple, lemon, sugar, egg white and brut cider. The use of cider or apple-based spirits has been present in recent years in the country’s cocktail bar. A sector in which Asturies has excellent representatives, including winners of world championships, but which is not yet known to the general public.
If we want to go into this world, Warsaw Amares also offers more mixtures such as the ‘Menorcan Pomade’ – gin, lemon, sugar and Chartreuse – or ‘The air tastes like poison’ – tequila, dried vermouth, vermouthrosso and Campari macerated with raspberries and all this aged in oak barrels for two months. The terrace is open from Thursday to Sunday from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. and the kitchen schedule is from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
