The espicha with which the Asturian cider season is inaugurated will be held from March 29th to April 1st at the Muséu del Pueblu d’Asturies, Xixón.
LA SIDRA.-This celebration, declared of social roots by the City Council of Xixón, gives a good example of how alive cider culture is in our country and how important it is for Asturian people.
The countdown for the IX First Cider of the Year has begun!! A festival in which the most important manifestations of Asturian cider culture take place.
Music, traditional gastronomy, competitions, traditional sports, tastings, exhibitions … and of course cider, lots of cider. And it is that this meeting offers the possibility of testing the new production of a large part of Asturian cidermills and that will mark the trend of our flagship drink throughout the year. And all for only 6€!
The IX First Cider of the Year will have Sidra Riestra as the official cider, winner of the Best First Cider of the Year 2018, and will be held from March 29th to April 1st at the Muséu del Pueblu d’Asturies in Xixón on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 12:00 to 22:00; and Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00 h.
And let’s not forget the Sidracrucis!!!!
