In the cider boulevard from Uvieu there’s the Samartín from today until Sunday 23rd.
The time for the pork season, the Samartín, is coming. In La Gascona on the 20th all the cier bars will have menus and snacks with Asturian crafted products with pork as protagonist. These days will end on Sunday 23rd with “El Martiniegu”.
El Martiniegu from La Gascona is going to be a morning of celebration with some kilos of tripes in a clay casserole with a fresh baked hoaf of bred for just 3 €. This dish and many more dishes from pork will be for sale in the different places of the boulevard also to takeaway. Chorizo, blood sausage, lard, tripes and bread with pork all hand crafted.
From 11 in the morning all these pork products will be availvable and from 12 there will be the tripes dish, Martiniegu, along with cider and the traditional music performed by Bandina Los Gascones to amke Sunday’s moring something different and funny. Writa it down!:
