Manolo González creates Asturies Sidrera, a work with which wants to convey the joy related to cider.
THE CIDER.- Edited by Hércules Astur, serigraphy has been having a great welcome for a work of this kind, being expected to run out the first 100 issues.
Manolo González (Tol, Castropol, 1957) made Asturies Sidrera as an attempt to speak about cider as a beverage that “puts together the right environment for communication and joy of life”, something understood by the scholars of this art, conveys perfectly and with complicity as it wants.
The author states that is the “strenght of the color” which made him use the serigraphy as way of artistic expression and regarding his work explained that “once I got the composition, which is the most difficult part, being simpyl creative, it was just matter of giving credibility to the glass”.
