The use of Asturian cider in a campaign anti-Catalonian is a total nonsense that outrages us.
THE CIDER.- Once again we know a despicable campaign for the consumption of cider instead of Catalonian cava due to political issues: “I, Asturian cider. I don’t buy cava. If they want independence let them pay for it”. This is the sad slogan of a campagin done with a picture of El Gaitero Cider.
Of course without any permission from the cider mill.
As we have already saidn several times, there are many reasons to drink Asturian cider and none of them is to go against Catalonian cava and less try to make anti-Catalonian policy regarding the political decisions taken in Catalonia. Whoever does this, who tries to boycott cava to economically damage Catalonia due to whatevr politics, is not only not doing any favor to Asturies but also is an outrageous behavior.
From LA SIDRA, we want to express all our support for the Catalonian cava, which is not an enemy of Asturies nor cider, and our whole support for the Catalonian people without any political dirty issues.
