Copenhague’s Cider Festival is the main cider event in Escandinavia and will have the participation of Sidra Riestra in representation of Asturies.
LA SIDRA.- As usually LA SIDRA will be present at the interesting cider festival in which a total of 25 cider mills will participate, Riestra Cider Mill among them.
Given the fact that cider culture in Denmark is quite recent, this is why this festival is so important to establish that cider culture.
In this matter it is to be remarked the great work of the Association for the Spreading of True Cider in Denmark, organizers of the Rigtig Cider. They also settle a definition for what cider is, considering that it has to be made from apple, not pasteurized and without any added sugars or water, requirements widely accomplished by Riestra Cider Mill, who will meritoriously represent Asturies.
This event will be held on 26th and 27th of August in Torvehallerne, Copenhague. Apart of a wide selection of ciders the festival also offers a meal. There for 130 crowns, 17’5 €, visitors will have the chance to enjoy a cider tasting. Besides they will be aple to purchasebottles and enjoy calmly in the tables near the Danish canals.
