DOP’s Technical Day

Today from 17 to 19 h there will be in La Felguera a Masterclass of Denomination of Origin Cider of Asturies.

LA SIDRA.- With the aim to deepen into the knowledge of the DOP cider and empower its consumption the CR DOP Cider of Asturies in collaboration with OTEA and Society of Festivities and Culture “San Pedro”, they have prepared a technical day for Asturian hostelry owners. It will help them to know the key aspects about DOP Cider, its service, the conservation of the product, the factors of cider, DOP features or to know the cider’s defects  as well as making people aware of the positive aspect around this cider.

Lately the DOP Cider of Asturies they struggle for giving it to know and value this quality label among Asturian society in general and especially among the hostelry of the country in particular, understanding that a bigger knowledge on cider will mean a better service quality and appreciation, so it will lead to a growth in the consumption. 

The DOP Cider of Asturies’ Masterclass will be headed by Pedro Ramas at the facilities of the Society of Festivities in Pntor Paulino Vicente Street nb 2, from 17 to 19 h.
