This one is considered to be as one of the main cider conests.
THE CIDER.- Trabanco participated in the Great Lakes International Cider and Perry Competition (GLINTCAP), along with another 500 ciders worldwide raching four medals, silver one for Trabanco Cosecha Propia and Poma Áurea, and bronze for Avalon nad Llagar de Camín.
This week arrived the medals from the USA to Asturies and now they are displayed hanging from their corresponding bottles besided the apple orchards full of fruits.
With this recognition Trabanco has added another international success of this year after the one in Frankfurt -where there was also LA SIDA- getting the award “Pomme d´Or 2016” in the categories Sparkling Apple wince ciders and dessert ciders.
On the other hadn this is the second time in the short history of Avalon that is awarded in a prestigious contest, something that according to Eva Trabanco “encourages us and allows us to prove that this line we opened has its market, as we could assess in Asturies where we sold 2.000 bottles in just some days during Xixón’s Cider Festival”:
