A LA SIDRA’s dellegation will represent Asturies in the International Cider Festival of Rotterdam, Holland
THE CIDER.- Asturian cider will be present in the II Cider Festival, to be held tonigh beginning with a Cider Dinner and going on tomorrow with an open to public tasting. On it people will be able to taste cider from the different countries present.
The Asturies XXI Foundation and LA SIDRA will represent Asturies taking our national beverage there as well as our cider culture and the activities we organize: the First Cider of the Year and the International Hall of Gala Ciders, to be held on 30th of September and 1st October.
With this it is reached each time a bigger presence and recognition of Asturian cider in international events, getting thus to put Asturies in the cider map. This until not so long was unthinkable due to the laziness of the “Principality”, who never did any work for our international presence, nor of country or cider, so Basque cider was the most known and the only international reference was that began by the Asturies XXI Foundation and LA SIDRA.
