They hate whatever is Asturian

The president of the “Principality” wished good Christmas in 14 languages, none of them the one from the country in which he is president. What can be expect about cider?

THE CIDER.- From LA SIDRA for long time we have been stating the continuous contempt of the “Principality” to cider with the systematic and only use of “Spanish wine” in official events. That was not only an agression to our national beverage but to the whole Asturian society and whatever is Asturian, only if it was due to hatred towards Asturian cider they coul use at least Cangas wine.

So, the president of that institution that we the Asturians were not allowed to vote, has sent a Christmas card for the holidays in 14 languages and none of them Asturian, the language from the country in where he is president. Who despises our language like this, could we expect something different about the attitude towards cider?

The self-hatred and cosmoredneckism that the “Principality” shows is totally unjustifiable, given that the Asturies he has to deal with is not a district from Madrid as they would want, but it has cider instead of wine, that plays bagpipe instead of guitar, that dances Asturian and not flamenco, that never liked bullfighting, that speaks its own language… but even then there is no sense in such asturphobic behavior.

Asturies is a matter of every of us, and from us it is expected the natural care and esteem of what is ours. These people from the “Principality”, what they are, then… Principalians?
