The Hermanos Martínez Sopeña Brothers, Elías Carmenado and Eladio Losada were awarded as best Apple Tree Orchard, Best Cider Apple and Best Table Apple respectively.
THE CIDER.- The Apple Festival of Villaviciosa gave away yesterday its prizes for the Best Apple Tree Orchard ( in cosmoredneck “apple tree planting”), which was for Martínez Sopeña Brothers (El Gobernador Cider Mill), Best Cider Apple for Elías Carmenado, the Best Apple for DOP Cider for Dolores Huerta, for the Best Table Apple, for Eladio Losada.
There were also more prizes, for Tradition in Apple Tree Harvesting for Manuel Martínez, for the Best Cider Apple Orchard for Elvira Olaya, for the Best Table Apple Orchard for Ana Mª Alonso and an accesit for Francisco Foncueva with Best Table Apple.
A good set of prizes whith which its recognized the labour of these professionals of the apple sector, dubtlessly essential.
