From homemade llagar to “house cellar”

The lamentable process of culture loss that we the Asturians are suffering makes that each time is more frequent the Spanishing of the Asturian vocabulary until going beyond the imaginable ridiculous.

THE CIDER.- If the alert already bell with the tv program that called “sidriña” and “bodegas” to cider and llagares (cider cellars), now the absurdity gets to a point that in a media from the country (La Nueva Españ) in an article signed by Mariola Menéndez, they use the rem “house cellar” to refer to homemade cider cellars.
