They will offer special menus during the Christmas holidays
THE CIDER.- The Catering and Hospitality services of the eight public hospitals in Asturies have developed special menus to make the stay of patients admitted during Christmas more enjoyable. And, of course, many of them include sparkling cider without alcohol. How to toast without it? The drink will be served, for example, in San Agustín, HUCA or the Valle del Nalón Hospital, and may be, as appropriate, on Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and New Year.
As for the dishes they will prepare during the holidays they are, depending on the hospital and on the different dates: seafood soup, clam pixin, grilled chop; Scorpion fish pie, shrimp marmite, cod, beef medallion, roasted lamb, salmon, roast beef with berries, pork tenderloin with caramelized onion, supreme hake casserole with glutton sautéed, pork loin with nuts crust , between many more. Of course, special desserts, traditional sweets will also be served, and, on Three Kings Day, there will also be a special menu. For example, at HUCA they will serve for breakfast a roscón prepared by the kitchen professionals.
