Asturias Brut Cider

The Regulatory Board DOP Cider of Asturias promotes the seventh edition of the event.

LA SIDRA.- Brut cider is a trend. And even more at this time of year.

Asturias Brut Cider reaches its seventh edition with the aim of promoting this kind of cider, not only among Asturian people, but also among the thousand tourists who visit us this season.

What started as a local event, restricted to Xixón, today hast turned into an event in which more than 300 restaurants around the region take part. This edition, opened yesterday, will last until 7th January involving Emilio Martinez (El Gobernador), Poma Aurea (Trabanco), Pomarina (El Gaitero) and Solaya (Quelo).

Emilio Martinez is a brut nature with a fine bubble, fruity aromas and fresh tartness, made with Regona, Raxao and Blanquina apple varieties.

Poma Aurea has a golden colour, fine bubble and a smooth, slight woody aftertaste, made with Regona and Raxao varieties.

Pomarina has a bright yellow colour, intense smell and fruity and citric hints, made with De la Riega, Verdialona, Raxao and Regona varieties.

Solaya has a straw yellow, greenish colour. It shows fine bubble and clean smell, with fruity hints and smooth on the palate which reminds of a rippen apple.

This Christmas order brut cider and make a toast with the truly authentic.
